Factory seats are designed to accommodate a wide range of body types and prioritize comfort over support, which means they often allow the driver to slide within the seat during hard cornering, requiring the driver to brace against the door or steering wheel instead of focusing entirely on car control.

The Zeta III's deeper side bolsters hold the driver's torso and hips in place through hard cornering, allowing more precise and confident steering inputs since the driver isn't constantly repositioning themselves. The FRP shell also saves meaningful weight over a factory seat frame.
